This mornings post bought to you by my daughter Lexie.
She has her second school transition visit this morning.
She is so prepared to start it is not funny.
She scares me.
And next week, she goes in full uniform. And I will probably cry.
I miss her.
She is so ready. I am not.

Yay! Go Lexie, enjoy school. Big hugs to you Lucy!!
ReplyDeleteAwe! They grow up so fast. Enjoy her excitment while it lasts, it will probably wear off in a few weeks :)
ReplyDeleteOh, lovely. I want to throw myself on the floor and let my pouting heart bleed about this as well!
ReplyDeleteThe photo is priceless. Says so much in just one pose! Oh, be still my heart. She is precious.xxxx Can we hold each other's hand in February? Please? *sob*
It's that time of year! :]
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about/writing about the first day of school myself and how this is the first year I didn't have a first day of school in a really long time.
Happy First Day!
oh yes, they grow up so fast. My son just started driving himself to school this year..... Scary. Bittersweet.
ReplyDeleteShe will love it! My little man started this year, initially I was devastated but now he thinks school is the best invention ever...and so do I! Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteOwww bless x
ReplyDeleteI'm freaking out about this for my biggest boy. He will be fine, won't he? He's such a snag, I worry the other boys will make a meal of him.
ReplyDeleteMiss 5 is nearly finished her first year at school - that is scary! It went so fast and she loved every minute, no, every second of it. She has grown and learned so much and although I miss her during the day it is absolutely amazing seeing her filled with excitement about learning. Lexie will love it and you will be fine :) xx
ReplyDeleteAw! That's so sweet. I don't have kids (yet), but I can imagine how hard it would be to send them off to school and see them so grown up. Good luck!
