  1. Hi Lucy, thanks for making a beautiful blog. Been reading it, but only just "officially" followed now. I would love to have a look at this book as I've only just started blogging (nutritionforrealpeople.blogspot.com) and would love to read Darren Rowse's book!
    Thanks,

I'd like for my blog to look like someone actually knew what they were doing when they designed - I certainly didn't and don't.

  6. I have been blogging since not long after Darren (I think I started back in 2004 from memory). I am not earning a full time living out of it though.

My goal? Just to find the time to write more consistently. The beginning of the year is all new and I have loads of time to write and then as the months roll by life gets busier and the blog starts to stall.

Of course, earning a full time living through blogging would be all kinds of awesome as well. ;)

And I love that you used the word tops! I just wrote on another blog that I am bringing that word back!

I want to hone my writing skills, keep my brain busy so it doesn't turn to mush, log my life experiences in case I ever get hit on the head and suffer amnesia, and hopefully one day develop an amazing idea for a book that no one would be able to pass up.

I'm trying to be a regular blogger now, however had created this account years back. I strongly feel that blogs are a powerful platform to share thoughts, emotions and connect with the world.

Liked your blog for its nice catchy titles and variety of contents.

I don't have a vision/manifesto for my blog, however I want my blog to be known for its original thinking, in-depth analysis and honest opinion.
I want my blog to be a platform to share interest & authentic information with readers.

I would like to participate in the competition :) I have been blogging for couple of years however I have finally got a proper blog that am building up based on different ideas that I have in mind. I like writing about women, men, relationships and my personal life.

I blog on topics that usually people in India do not talk about openly, I conduct surveys, do my research by reading magazines & searching on google and share the survey results with readers...

Appreciate your feedback :) And congrats for making it to the Blogs of Note, hope I do too one day...

Already following your blog - love your regular updates. The cereal vlog was so cute!
There are so many of us new "bloggers" - I have just read through some of the comments. Maybe we should all start a library for this book - share the joy as it were (regardless on whether I win I think I should buy this book anyway, it looks great). I have been trying a few different posts to find my "blogging voice" and now have an idea of what feels like me... Will be starting to trial it over the next month. http://theurbanmum.blogspot.com/

I just found your blog because of Blogs of Note, but you write the kind of stuff I like to read! I'll enjoy following you!

I hope by getting information (through my links to the Black Dog's bipolar self-test) that people will ask their doctor: "Am I bipolar?" I am also the only one blogging in this space in Australia, which is important. www.madambipolar.com

  58. Well Lucy, like many I found you on the 'blogs of note' and was impressed and also saw your competition. I am wondering how in the world you are going to chose a winner from all of us. Good luck to everyone out there. I started a blog 2 weeks ago to fill in my days as my 10 months of long service leave ticks away. I need to find a new life for myself before time runs out - empty nest looms and mid-life crisis is going for seconds. Who knows what treasures may lurk in the recesses of my cluttered mind. Or, maybe it really is all junk. Still...one person's trash etc etc.....Have a great day.

  71. Hi Lucy, I just stumbled upon your blog because it's on the blogs of note :) I would definitely be interested in reading this book! I've been blogging about 5 months and I love it! My blog www.lilbitsofchic.com started with the objective of showing my paintings but then my passion for fashion kicked in.

I would love more tips on how to connect more with my readers, how to make my blog be unique and also promote my blog to hopefully generate a tad bit of income but while maintaining a genuine & real feel. I don't want to lose the "small blog" warm feel. Currently my strategy for connecting is writing back to all those who comment but sometimes I simply can't keep up!

  79. Hi, Lucy! I started my blog as a way to vent my frustrations at my cancer diagnosis. I discovered it's really cathartic to write about stuff that bugs me. Or to let people know about a book I've read that was a great read. Or, whatever is on my mind, at any given time (which can be a real crap shoot). I feel it's time to take it to another level, and have more fun with it.
    Good luck in your journey!

Mi blog pretende recoger vivencias experiencias de determinado grupo de especialistas en el área eléctrica y hasta hoy no logro el suficiente flujo de visitantes y comentaristas. Te anexo lo que pretende ser un blog pero le falta mucho todavia.

  85. Hi Lucy, your Blog looks great! I have a few different ideas for Blogs but I can't settle on one so all of my attention is NO WHERE instead of on one subject.

My real passion is for Graphic Design and I would love to make this my main blog.

  87. I found this blog through the Blogs of Note link on Blogger and I love all that I see. My goal as a freelance writer and a blogger is to make a full time income that will get me debt free and help me fulfill my dream of seeing the world. I run several sites but the one I want the world to see is http://www.theFamousAshleyGrant.com. I want to win this book so bad so I hope that random.org reveals me!

  88. Hi!
I just started following your blog. I would love to get this book because I would like to earn money from my blog. The only problem is I don't know where to start! My husband and I are trying to start a family and I would love to be a stay at home mom. But, we need a little extra income for that. My blog is spencerwayoflife.blogspot.com.

  89. Hi Lucy,

I am fresh out of the barndoor of blogging, only starting this month. As a newbie I could really use the help of this book. I want to be a Problogger like you! You have inspired me. 93. It's still very surprising for me, how many people will visit the blog, when you label the text 'giveaway'
You write about lerning techniques for coming up with new post ideas. Any techniques for willingness for posting? With ups and downs I feel like pricked balloon.

Anyway! Already love your lovely blog and you! And even more your achievement, that I'd love to follow.

  94. Hi there! I just recently found your blog and I have been enjoying so far! I started writing my blog, just to see if I could, and who, if anyone would visit. I'm trying to figure out if I'm a good writer and if I have anything to say. Being consistent and inspired are some things I would like to work on so that I could get an established readership. Thanks!

  96. Lucy -- Just came across your blog through Blogs of Note, and I love it! From physics/mediums to grieving, to eating healthier and choosing habits that keep you happy, I can relate to a lot of what you write about!

My blog (http://wendyrebuilding.blogspot.com/) is about my life as a young widow who is finding herself in a new place, and trying a new career. My blogger goal is to simply to have others who are grieving (especially the loss of a spouse, and particularly for those for whom death was early in life and/or quite sudden) find my blog, read it, and feel some measure of hope for the future.

  97. My goal for my blog is to put my writing out there and hopefully some people will read and enjoy it. I'm loving that I get encouragement through comments and that I can just babble on there sometimes to get all the words out of my head when there is no one around to listen! Also would like to do a little product reviewing as I like to have a say in what choices we are given in the marketplace. It would be nice to have the blog make enough money so I can move it to my domain name too! Let me know what you think www.beccibird.blogspot.com (very basic).

  98. What a lovely and heartfelt blog you have! I'd love it if you visited my cookery blog, theyogivegetarian and leave some feedback. If you are interested in diet, there's a lot of healthy yet yummy stuff in there...!(I can honestly say I am happier, more energetic and have gradually lost pounds and achieved my own natural healthy weight since following the type of diet I am promoting). I've been blogging since last November and I never cease to be impressed by all the professional-looking blogs I come across. My blogging goal is to connect with a wider audience and get more followers by improving the layout and features on my blog because as well as sharing a bit of my heart, I really have a worthwhile message about lifestyle, health and spirituality to get across. Fact is, I just love blogging and being inspired by all you wonderful creative bloggers out there! I think that book could really turn things round for me and help me achieve my blogging goal.. maybe one day I'll get to give up my day job and do this full-time ??!
