I love blogging, reading, watching crap reality tv, drinking gin, eating fatty foods and most recently I have started pilates which gives me a couple of hours a week of complete "brain silence" it is the best. Oh to have a few days just to indulge in me time - how great would that be?
Time sure does disappear when you're blogging!! I also love to read a good book or watch a good movie. Coffee with and conversation. Hmmm I'm seeing a theme already - basically anything with a good story attached is a happy place for me!!
Most definately love getting myself lost in a book - i've just finished reading three of Geraldine Brooks ( yep, only just discovered her! ) and i'm sure i've missed some important conversations with my fiance and that my son may have grown an inch during that time!
Crochet. I learnt it last year on suggestion for calming my thought process down and focusing on relaxing. It has really helped and I am always crocheting something now.
Talking. Blogging (which is essentially, talking, really, isn't it?). Reading (talking in my head). Cooking (and then talking myself into exercise to burn the excess off). Playing (which means listening while my kids talk). Sweet-talking (a girl needs new shoes, right?) And reality-TV (in which people talk a lot about either cooking or losing weight). Did I mention talking?
Knitting...could do it for hours, blogging, chatting over coffee with Hubby, walking, sitting on the end of my girls' beds saying "good-night"...no more bedtime stories but lots of catching up on their day and mine :) (this has to be my favourite time of the evening) btw Happy Birthday for last week, Lucy! xoxox

ReplyDeleteLovely post.
Oh, I just read bigwords comment...watching crap reality TV, too!! :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely reading. I don't have a garden so that's out, cooking I enjoy but I wouldn't say I lose myself in it. Blogging, writing. TV box sets.

Reading, definitely reading. I love to read things over and over, good books never get old!
ReplyDeleteBlogging without question is the biggest time suck I know. Followed by reading, talking whilst drinking chardonnay and dancing between the sheets. x
ReplyDeleteAll of the above :)
ReplyDeleteblogging, reading blogs - definitely my number one indulgence and time stealer - but I love it!
