HUGE post about comments coming soon, as a result of all of the insights you shared yesterday via your observations here on my blog, via Twitter and via email.
I am fascinated.
And today? A day of play dates and driving round in circles.
I don't worry too much about comments. One time, I posted a single period and got 66 comments. Once, I posted what I thought was my best and got hardly any. I love comments, but appreciate the fact that they don't really say anything about the overall quality of the post.
I decided there was no point posting a comment on your blog about comments because I was a day late to comment...but you know I love you!! I just got a day or so behind in reading my most beloved blogs...damn you life, getting in the way of my bloggy world!!
So, comments, eh?? I love them. LOVE them. And since I don't get too many, I crave them. It's the insecure high school nerd in me coming out loud and clear. Or perhaps Sally Field during her Oscars speech ("You like me! You really like me!!") -after all, I was named after her....no joke.
Comments are the icing sugar on my brownies, the sultanas in my scones, the bubbles in my champers...oh who am I kidding, there hasn't been any champers around breastfeeding central in a while...
I think you need more comments, regarding the commenting on comments. So here is my comment ;) Hope you had fun driving in circles today, I know I did!
Hi Lucy, I've left a comment on your comments post now...better late than never :-)

I'm a comment-whore, and proud of it. I think.
