Gluts...

Today I am grateful for gluts. Profusion. Abundance.

Tomatoes, basil and olives, to name just a few.

Gluts keep my husband and my children and my garden and my compost and my kitchen, and my tummy, happy.

I am also doing a Weekend Rewind at the Fibro. Off you go. It's all oldies but goodies from a year ago....some classic stuff.

  1. Jealous of your glut. My tomatoes just won't turn red this year :(

  2. Ours took a fair while longer than usual...and they taste less intense this year...

  3. I've never had a glut... it sounds exciting! You can bottle the tomatoes and basil together for lovely pasta sauces.

I notice that Al has her own label... x

  4. Lovely Maxabella, we live in an area very much influenced by Italian preserving habits. In a fortnights time, our back yard will resemble the scene from "Looking For Alibrandi".

I am off to look for beautiful lables for my bottles now...
