Today I have been busy.
We have been busy.
I did a personal training session at 6am
I hit the ground running at 7am to get Olivia and Charlie ready to go off to school.
(Yep, Charlie started school today, in the reception class. More on that later this week!)
We all, lovely husband included, spent time at school this morning, getting Charlie settled.
And Lexie had a new swimming class. And then she and I swam together.
And we shopped for summer clothes.
And this house is filthy.
And I am up to my eyeballs in laundry.
Just bloody busy.
I am knackered.
But happy. Very happy.
i know "up to my eyeballs in laundry"....It is the job I always out off till last...but then today I happened to get a visit from my mum who did about 5 loads for me while she was here....And I am feeling very very spoiled, but thankful!

The simple joys of family are so rewarding, it's great to see how you're all sharing in them. My children are almost grown up now and I love the times we all get together - now a weekly event rather than a few times each day!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest Gill, after yesterdays event, I was impressed I made it to personal training too. I am so tired.....(but it was worth it for the post half marathon catchup!) I have to admit to not stretching myself....
