It is a 4.5km round trip. A little hilly. Well lit.
The half marathon that I am registered for, and that I am fundraising for, is 22km
So I have worked out that I need to be able to do my block five times round to get myself to the distance.
So here is my plan - for each Sunday, between now and the half marathon on October 10th:
July - 9km (x 3 weeks)
August - 13.5km (x 5 weeks)
September - 18km (x 3 weeks)
September - 22.5km (x 2 weeks)
Oct 3rd - 13.5km
October 10th Race Day - 22km
Gonna have to get up earlier and earlier every Sunday to make it round in time............
