A suburb that is moments away from the city centre of Adelaide, and about 20 minutes from where we live.
My family migrated from the UK to Australia three generations ago, and settled in North Adelaide. My mother has recently returned there. It is a gracious and peaceful little corner of Adelaide. It boasts two amazing restaurant strips. It also is home to the hospital where my son Charlie, and my daughter Lexie were born.
As a family we spend a lot of time in North Adelaide.
Our children attend swimming lessons here, at the North Adelaide Aquatic Centre:
And afterwards we play in the Bush Magic Playground in the North Adelaide Parklands:
And then we grab a bite from Perryman's Bakery:
When I put together posts like these, I really know I never want to live anywhere else but Adelaide..........

Beautiful! I've never been to Adelaide, but you are inspiring me to get there one day.
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely. I've been blessed to travel the world during my life, inlcluding visits to Australia and New Zealand, but, for me, there's no place like home - though I love seeing other countries and their beauty.
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous!! I would love to some day visit Australia!

ReplyDeleteI love North Adelaide. We spent one night there on our recent trip at a wonderful guest house and walked down to an Italian restaurant on the main road. It's worlds apart from downtown Adelaide. Lovely and serene.
