Hey Miss Lucy! I loved your post below! We are so much alike.Cleaning and de-cluttering is the BEST feeling in the world. It's so invigorating to get rid of stuff you aren't using.Glad your room is the haven you want it to be. I will be cleaning ALL day tomorrow. I'm a tad bit behind! Hope you are doing great. Heading to check out your walk through memory lane. ;)
Hey, I just gave you the Sunshine Award on my blog. Come by and check it out! Gillian
Ok 'comment addict' Lucy here's a long one for you:Inspired from your post... here is how me and MY Andrew met...Some quick background - I used to be in the Navy. I joined up as an Officer straight out of year 12 convinced that this would be the adventure of a lifetime and the career for me. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be (I've mentioned it briefly here: http://wannabeworkathomemum.blogspot.com/2010/03/from-brainstorming-to-bibbles.html ) and 2 years later found myself returning home to Tassie.I started law but found it meh and was just generally restless. So one summer I booked a ticket for me and my old Renault 'Reggie' on the ferry... hit the mainland and started driving.I was travelling about visiting relatives, friends etc... and I was visiting my cousin in Warwick, Qld and ran out of money for my little adventure. LOL. So I walked into a local pub and got a job waitressing the same day.(I am getting to the point...)On my first night on the job I met Tash, who instantly declared that we would be great friends and that she knows the PERFECT guy for me, she could 'just tell'. It was in fact her then boyfriend's step-brother and it was in fact MY Andrew! And she was right!.. this was around 2003 and we've been blissfully happy ever since, married now for 3 years with 2 bubs under 2 years!Oh - and Tash is also now married so we are now not only great friends but also sister-in-laws too! As you can imagine, I could not shut her up when she was bridesmaid at our wedding... it was all her doing!:)And that's the story of me and my Andrew and how a girl from Tas stumbled across her soulmate in rural queensland!(sorry if this post was too long! :)
No, not too long at all......I love a good "how did you meet your man" story! Thank you!
I LOVE IT!!!
So smoothe Lucy, that's you all over! The shag bud to true love. Love it!
