Weekend. Love them. Luxury.
We have two days stretching ahead of us with no plans, no particular place to be. No schedule to rush to.
We may have friends for dinner, but they are type of close friends that I do not have to clean for, nor do I need to fret about "entertaining" them. They appear, we chill, the kids play together, we eat, we laugh, they potter off home again.
I have a lot of nice things I would LIKE to do today. But nothing I HAVE to do.
That, for me, is luxury.
Forget your fancy cars and your diamond rings, luxury, for me, is clean sheets on the bed and no stressy demands on my time.
Forget palatial mansions and ritzy restaurants, I am happy, now, for luxury to take its form in healthy kids and my peace of mind.
Forget designer labels and highly priced handbags...give me the groove of a happy family smiling: my happy family smiling, and I will use an enviro sack forever.
Are we all fed and watered and warm and smiling? All safe, under the one roof?

Then that I all I need. That is the ultimate in luxury for me right now.
What is YOUR ultimate luxury?
