Ok, well, I have taken the advice of my personal trainer and really increased my protein and reduced my carbs.
Bring on the egg white omelette and the tuna salad.
Every morning I have been getting on the scales, and the weight it is dropping off me!
Here is what I have been doing:
Breakfast: Protein shake (with phylissium added, which keeps me full)
Lunch: An egg white omelette, with a chunk of low fat grated cheese and some veggies in it.
Snack (when the kids eat their dinner) of a tuna salad
Dinner: whatever we are having.....easy on the fat and the carbs
Plus of course as much water as I can guzzle.
This takes me to about 1200 calories, made up of about:
135g of protein
105g of effective carbs (made up mostly of fruit and veg)
And it appears to be working brilliantly...who knew?!
